Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I Read in 2014

So I definitely had to go through Goodreads to figure out which novels I've read this year... Even if I slacked off on the blog, Goodreads kept track for me. At the beginning of the year, I set a goal to read 36 books by the end of the year. I figured, I'm in grad school. I can read three books a month, right? Well some months were very sad, but others (like October!) were crazy... and I far surpassed my goal with 49 books in 2014!

Here are my Top 10 Favorite Books that I read this year!

Honorable Mentions:
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children: Hollow City by Ransom Riggs
Something Like Normal by Trish Doller
The Firebird by Susanna Kearsley

What was your favorite read of 2014?

  2. I've seen so many of these on 'best books' lists all over the place. I watch an interview with Cheryl Strayed and I really want to pick up Wild soon. Gotta finish up some other books before I start buying new ones though. =)
